Our Story

A Legacy on the Rideau Canal

Built in 1888 by Thomas Bartlett Kenney at the historic Jones Falls Locks, Hotel Kenney has welcomed guests for over a century. Located along the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal, our resort overlooks Whitefish Lake with views of the locks, waterfalls, and surrounding natural beauty.

Purchased in 2022 by Jeff Day and Core Lee, we're bringing this heritage gem back to life — preserving its vintage charm while adding modern comfort, one season at a time.
